Professor Aminullah Motasim was born on January 10, 1975, in the city of Herat. He completed his primary education at Jamia School in Herat in 1989 and obtained his bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies, specializing in Fiqh and Law, from Kabul University in 1997. In the same year, he achieved the significant accomplishment of memorizing the entire Quran. Professor Motasim completed his Hadith and Tafsir studies at the “Tafheem-ul-Quran Madrasah” in Mardan, Pakistan, in 1999. He earned his master’s degree in Islamic Studies, specializing in Tafsir and Hadith, from Nangarhar University in 2014. Currently, Professor Motasim is pursuing his Ph.D. in Tafsir at Sultan Mehmet Fatih University in Istanbul, Turkey.
Professor Motasim’s teaching and research duties have spanned from 2002 to 2015 at Herat University and from 2016 to the present at Parwan University, where he serves as a faculty member. Since his student days, he has been diligently promoting knowledge in the field of Quranic Tafsir and Hadith with unwavering determination and perseverance.
